California paramedics generally need 48 hours of continuing education during each two-year renewal cycle. California also has requirements governing instructor-based CE. Minnesota EMT, AEMT, and Paramedic Continuing Education
Minnesota's 48-hour continuing education renewal option includes EMTs, AEMTs, and paramedics. All three levels are eligible for our $149 package. Does Paramedic Continuing Education Count Toward NREMT Recertification?
NREMT accepts qualifying CAPCE-accredited continuing education, including online courses. Paramedics renewing through the National Continued Competency Program must complete 60 credits across the national, local or state, and individual components.
A 48-CEU state package alone does not provide the full 60 credits required for NREMT paramedic recertification. If you maintain both credentials, plan your education around both sets of requirements and select courses that fit the appropriate NCCP components.
