Does CE Solutions send my certificates to the state?
Most states require that you submit an application for renewal and require your signature certifying that you do in fact have proof of CE documentation.

How do I print a certificate?
Every certificate you receive is stored in your history file and may be accessed by clicking on the “Reports” menu item and then selecting “History”.

How soon can I take a course again after passing it?
You may retake any CEU module after 12 months of successfully passing the module. Your course library will automatically update the date passed when you successfully retake the module. You should only use a CEU module once per recertification cycle.
When I try to take an exam, the system tells me that I must wait a specific amount of time.
The exam clock is based on a true 24 hour rotation cycle. For example, If you took 12 CEUs yesterday and the first CEU you earned was at 5PM, you must wait until 5PM today to take the next exam.
Think of it as a “24-hour Merry-Go-Round” with only 12 seats. Every time a CEU is earned, a seat is occupied for 24 hours by that CEU.
After being on the amusement ride for 24 hours the CEU must leave and therefore a seat becomes available for the next exam.
Do I have to wait before taking an exam?
Yes, Most states require participants to spend a minimum amount of time on each CE course before being allowed to receive credit. To comply with this requirement, we (and all other online CE providers) are required to place timers on each course. We realize that some students may read faster than the timer will permit you to advance, but regulations prohibit us from changing this function.

Exams for the live courses are available 30 minutes after the end of each course and the exams for the distributive education are ready immediately after spending the required time on the course content.

Why is there a course timer?
Most states require participants to spend a minimum amount of time on each CE course before being allowed to receive credit. To comply with this requirement, we (and all other online CE providers) are required to place attendance timers on each course. We realize that some students may read faster than the timer will permit you to advance, but regulations prohibit us from changing this function.
The course timer counts down when the course page is open and in focus. The timer will pause if you navigate away from the course page and will resume when you return to the course page. The timer only works when a single course open. The timer will pause if your phone or computer goes into standby or sleep mode.
Circumstances that may cause the timer to pause:
- More than one course/browser open. For the timer to count down, you must be on the course page the entire required time. You must have only one course open at a time. If you open more than one, the timer stops for both.
- Inactivity-the page cannot sit idle or go into sleep mode. If listening to the podcast, your screen must remain active. If on a cell phone, your device cannot go into sleep mode. All of these instances will cause the timer to pause.
- Loss of internet connectivity.
Suggestions to try:
- Open a single course and keep that tab in focus.
- Make sure cookies is enabled.
- Try a different browser or devices. We suggest Chrome.
If you still have difficulty, please send us a message through your student area. When writing to us, please tell us what device you are using, what browser, and if you are using the podcast so we can try to re-create your issue.
Keep in mind that we will attempt to duplicate your issue, but if the issue is not on our end, we cannot troubleshoot your personal device.
