Fire CE packages, fire only
If you hold a fire certification and nothing else, these two packages cover you. Both give you the full fire course library for the hours you buy. Pick the one that covers what your fire authority requires for your renewal period.
Fire CE packages, fire and EMS
Most firefighters we serve carry an EMS certification too. If you do, the combined State Recertification package covers both credentials in one purchase, under one login, and it costs less than buying fire hours alone. Which combined package you see depends on your EMS certification level.

How the packages work
- One-time purchase. CE Solutions does not bill a recurring subscription and nothing auto-renews.
- Your program stays active for one year, or until you finish all of the CEUs in it, whichever comes first.
- A package is valid for one recertification period.
- All courses are online and self-paced, on any device, at any hour.
- Certificates are issued the moment you pass and are saved to your history file.
- Fire and EMS live in the same account, so dual-credentialed providers only log in once.
Where our fire CE is accepted
CE Solutions is an approved fire continuing education provider in three states. In Texas we are approved by the Texas Commission on Fire Protection, and our courses count toward TCFP continuing education requirements. We are also approved for firefighter continuing education in Tennessee and in Ohio.
A number of other states accept fire continuing education that has been approved by another state's fire authority. If yours does, our courses may count toward your requirements as well. Rules on out-of-state CE differ from state to state, so confirm with your state's fire authority or your department before you buy. Texas firefighters should also see our TCFP injury report course, which is required annually.

Firefighter CE FAQs
How much does firefighter CE cost?
Fire CE packages start at $109 for 20 fire CEUs, and an 80 fire CEU package is $249. If you also hold an EMS certification, the combined package is $159 for 100 EMS plus 36 fire CEUs at the basic level, or $179 for 160 EMS plus 36 fire CEUs at the AEMT and paramedic level. Departments buying for a crew get separate group pricing.
Is this a subscription?
No. Every package is a one-time purchase covering one recertification period. Nothing auto-renews and there is no monthly or annual membership fee.
How long do I have to finish my hours?
Your program stays active for one year from purchase, or until you complete all of the CEUs in it, whichever comes first.
Which package should I buy?
If you hold only a fire certification, buy the fire package that covers the hours your fire authority requires. If you hold both fire and EMS certifications, the combined State Recertification package is almost always the better value because it covers both credentials in one purchase. Our fire courses are approved in Texas, Tennessee, and Ohio. If your state accepts fire continuing education approved by another state's fire authority, our courses may count as well. Rules vary, so confirm with your state's fire authority or your department before enrolling.
Can I do fire and EMS in one account?

Approvals. CE Solutions is approved by the Texas Commission on Fire Protection, and is approved for firefighter continuing education in Tennessee and Ohio. Acceptance in any other state depends on that state's own rules for continuing education approved by another state's fire authority, and is determined by that state, not by CE Solutions.
