NREMT-Basic:
May complete up to 10 hours of the SECTION 1-A requirements and may complete up to 24 hours of the SECTION 2 requirements using CE Solutions.

NREMT-Intermediate:
May complete up to 10 hours of the SECTION 1-A requirements and may complete up to (16 hours for EMT-I85) or (24 hours for EMT-I99) of the SECTION 2 requirements using CE Solutions.

NREMT-Paramedic:
May complete up to 10 hours of the SECTION 1-A requirements and may complete up to 12 hours of the SECTION 2 requirements using CE Solutions.

Alabama currently will not accept any CE units earned via self-study programs unless they're administered through a state-approved training facility. If you would like to participate in our program, contact your local training officer.

Alaska accepts CE Solutions' continuing education program. The total number of hours which may be applied towards EMT-I, EMT-II, or EMT-III recertification is limited to 24 hours per two year certification period and there is no limit for paramedic.

Arizona certified EMT-Is and EMT-Ps may obtain continuing education through CE Solutions with the approval from your medical director. EMT-Bs must have a current NREMT-Basic registration or complete an Arizona EMT-B refresher.

Arkansas accepts CE Solutions' continuing education program and you may obtain 12 hours during each 2 year recertification period CE through CE Solutions.

CE Solutions provides access to an instructor for California members 24/7 via email, telephone, instant messenger and fax to answer questions, provide clarification, provide feedback, address concerns, etc and is classified as instructor based continuing education.

California accepts CE Solutions' continuing education topics that are at least one CE hour. CE Courses taken by California EMS members that are less than 1 credit hour will NOT be accepted by the California EMS Authority for renewal of your EMS license or certification. This means that if you are using our program to renew your California EMS license you must take courses that are at least 1 credit hour.

Colorado accepts CE Solutions' continuing education program. You may obtain 50% of your continuing education from CE Solutions.

In order to receive credit in Connecticut, courses must be approved by each sponsoring hospital's Clinical Coordinator and must be administered within the state by a state-approved instructor. If you'd like to obtain continuing education from CE Solutions, contact your clinical coordinator.

Delaware accepts CE Solutions' continuing education program. You may obtain your continuing education from CE Solutions.

CE Solutions is accepted in DC, and The State of Delaware follows the guidelines of the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT). Please read the National Registry information above.

Florida requires approval of continuing education by each district's Medical Director. You may obtain your continuing education from CE Solutions with the approval from your medical director.

In Georgia, continuing education must be approved by the Georgia office of EMS, a regional Medical Director, or an Ambulance Service Medical Director. The local Medical Director may approve continuing education only for personnel affiliated with the service for which he/she is responsible. If approved by the local Medical Director, then a description of the training shall be filed with the regional EMS Coordinator prior to the beginning of the continuing education activity on a form provided by the Georgia office of EMS. Hawaii accepts CE Solutions' continuing education program. The State of Hawaii follows the guidelines of the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT). Please read the National Registry information above.

Idaho accepts CE Solutions' continuing education program. You may obtain your continuing education from CE Solutions.

Illinois accepts CE Solutions' continuing education program. You may obtain your continuing education from CE Solutions with the approval of your EMS System or Resource Hospital. Please note that your system or resource hospital may require that up to 50% of your CEUs be earned through attendance at system-taught courses and no more than 25% of your CEUs may be in the same subject.

Indiana accepts CE Solutions' continuing education program and accepts distance education. You may obtain your continuing education from CE Solutions.

You may obtain your required continuing education from CE Solutions. Iowa requires that 50% of your continuing be formal hours. Internet-delivered courses which are CECBEMS approved, designated for your level and address at least one of the following topics are considered formal hours:

• Airway Management
• Patient Assessment
• Trauma, Medical, Behavioral Emergencies
• Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Pediatrics
• Patient Care Record Documentation

Kansas Board of EMS requires that all correspondence continuing education must be approved by the Continuing Education Coordinating Board for EMS (CECBEMS). If the certificate of completion does not state that the offering is approved by CECBEMS, then it is not acceptable for Kansas certification renewal. Kentucky accepts CE Solutions' continuing education program. The State of Kentucky does not currently require prior approval of continuing education programs. EMTs are required to obtain 24 CE hours, and Paramedics are required to obtain 60 CE hours.

Louisiana accepts CE Solutions' continuing education program. The State of Louisiana follows the guidelines of the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT). Please read the National Registry information above.

Maine accepts CE Solutions' continuing education program. You may obtain your category 1, 2, 4 and 6 continuing education from CE Solutions.

Maryland accepts CE Solutions' continuing education program, and accepts up to 4 CE hours obtained via CE Solutions for EMT-B, or up to 10 CE hours for Paramedic.

Massachusetts accepts CE Solutions' continuing education program. You may obtain your continuing education from CE Solutions. Continuing education credit must be at least 1 hour in length and topics that are not applicable to being an EMT will not be accepted by Massachusetts Office of Emergency Medical Services.

Michigan requires lecture and practical continuing education. Michigan accepts CE Solutions' continuing education for the lecture portion of your continuing education. Michigan also requires practical continuing education credits (MFR-5, EMT-7, EMT Specialist-9, Paramedic-10). Mississippi accepts CE Solutions' continuing education program. The State of Mississippi follows the guidelines of the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT). Please read the National Registry information above.

Missouri accepts CE Solutions' continuing education program. Courses are accepted for continuing education credit in Missouri based on their approval by other state EMS agencies, per Missouri rule 19CSR 30-40.331, Section 4G.

Core courses must comply with DOT guidelines. Missouri has a 5-year re-certification period, during which you are required to complete 100 hours for EMT-B of CE, 48 core and 52 elective; or 144 hours for EMT-P 96 core, 48 elective. You may obtain your continuing education from CE Solutions.

Missouri prefers that you submit the history page instead of sending individual certificates, however it is important to print and save your certificates in case of an audit.

Montana accepts CE Solutions' continuing education program. The State of Montana follows the guidelines of the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT). Please read the National Registry information above.

You may obtain your continuing education from CE Solutions with approval from your training officer or medical director.

The State of Nevada accepts CE Solutions' continuing education program. You may obtain your continuing education from CE Solutions. If you are certified through Clark County Health District you are limited on the amount of hours you can use from CE Solutions towards recertification.

Clark County will accept the following:
EMT      (8 hours every 2 years)
EMT-I    (12 hours every 2 years)
EMT-P   (20 hours every 2 years)

For NJ EMTs The State of New Jersey accepts CE Solutions' continuing education program for NJ EMTs.

New Mexico accepts CE Solutions' continuing education program. A maximum of ten (10) hours of CE credit from a distributive learning program may be applied toward a refresher course blueprint and a maximum of twelve (12) hours of CE credit applied toward the additional CE requirement.

North Dakota accepts CE Solutions' continuing education program. You may obtain 10 hours of your continuing education from CE Solutions.

Ohio accepts CE Solutions' continuing education program and accepts all continuing education that is approved in any other state. You may obtain your required continuing education from CE Solutions.

Oklahoma accepts CE Solutions' continuing education program. The State of Oklahoma follows the guidelines of the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT). Please read the National Registry information above.

Oregon accepts CE Solutions' continuing education program. If you are an EMT or EMT-I you may obtain your continuing education from CE Solutions with the approval from your Medical Director. If you are an EMT-P you are limited to 6 hours with Medical Director's Approval.

Pennsylvania does not recognize CE Solutions' continuing education program and does not accept self-study credits.

Rhode Island accepts CE Solutions' continuing education program. The State of Rhode Island follows the guidelines of the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT). Please read the National Registry information above.

South Carolina accepts CE Solutions' continuing education program. You may obtain your continuing education from CE Solutions.

South Dakota accepts CE Solutions' continuing education program. The State of South Dakota follows the guidelines of the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT). Please read the National Registry information above.

The State of Tennessee recognizes courses with CECBEMS approval. CE Solutions is accredited by CECBEMS. EMT-Bs may complete up to 10 hours of continuing education and EMT-Ps may complete up to 15 hours of continuing education using CE Solutions.

Texas accepts CE Solutions' continuing education program and CE Solutions is a Texas CE provider (#101129). You may obtain your continuing education and recertify using CE Solutions.

Utah accepts CE Solutions' continuing education program. You may obtain 25 hours of your continuing education from CE Solutions.

The State of Vermont follows the guidelines of the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT). Please read the National Registry information above.

Virginia does not accept CE Solutions continuing education at the present time.

You may obtain your continuing education from CE Solutions with your medical director’s approval.

West Virginia does not allow distance education at this time.
